Orecchiette Pasta with Tomatoes and Basil

Ingredients - Serves 4 people

• 320g (11 oz) orecchiette pasta 

• 200g (7 oz) tomatoes

• Basil Olive Oil Galantino 

• Garlic 

• Salt

Recommended Olive Oil

The basil olive oil is ideal to dress this summer dish.

Preparation

Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. In a pan, at medium heat, fry the garlic till is slightly brown for a few minutes with extra virgin olive oil and salt, then add the tomatoes.

Cook the pasta al dente (not too soft or overcooked), stir-fry with the sauce for a few seconds, then place it on serving plates and serve piping hot seasoned with basil olive oil Galantino.

Chef’s Tip

Do not overcook the tomatoes. Only few minutes at high heat is enough.
