Ingredients:

– 200g of Maruzzella Canned Tuna

– 2 rolls of puff pastry

– 1 red bell pepper

– 1 yellow bell pepper

– 1 onion

– 80g of green olives

– 1 egg

– paprika

– pepper

Method:

This tasty recipe can be served as an appetizer or with your drinks.

In a pan, sauté the finely chopped onion until is nicely browned.

Add the thinly sliced bell peppers and cook until they are soft.

Add Maruzzella Canned Tuna, chopped green olives, salt, pepper and paprika and cook for a few minutes, to drain the liquids.

Let the mixture cool down while you prepare the pastry for the turnovers: take the puff pastry and cut out the circles, with the help of a cup or pastry ring. Put the stuffing in the centre of the circles and fold them in half, pressing down on the edges with the prongs of a fork to seal it.

Brush the turnovers with the egg and bake at 200° for 20 minutes.
